FastRawViewer

As the name points out, this is a tool that can be used to view RAW images. Various types of RAW files created with various camera models can be viewed with FastRawViewer.
True to its name, this tool is quite fast. That’s the best thing about FastRawViewer. Unlike other image viewers that become very slow when displaying RAW files, FastRawViewer quickly displays RAW files. Not only does FastRawViewer display RAW files, it also displays histogram, EXIF, and other useful info.

FastRawViewer is available as an OpenGL and as a DirectX version for 32- and 64-bit Windows editions.
FastRawViewer is also available for Mac OS X (64-bit CPU only).
A manual comes bundled with the FastRawViewer installation. Said manual is also available on the Download section of FastRawViewer.com.
Please note that FastRawViewer is a Beta at the time of writing this. If you’re not familiar with Betas, I’m just going to say this really fast: Betas tend to be buggy.

Open a RAW file and it will be displayed on the main panel of the application’s interface. Information about the file is displayed on the right hand side: histogram, OE/UE stats, XMP rating and label, EXIF info. Press the TAB button and the panel on the right hand side will hide out of sight. This is just one of many hotkeys that you can use. Click “Show shortcuts list” from the bottom right hand corner to view all available hotkeys. Go to the File Menu, the Keyboard Shortcuts submenu to access a keyboard shortcuts editor – or you can just press Ctrl + K to bring up the keyboard shortcuts editor.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from FastRawViewer: open and view all sorts of RAW files; open file, open folder; browse through all the RAW files stored in a folder; view info about the RAF file you’re viewing; pass image to an external editor; multiple view options; label; ratings; and more.
